VMIT Educational Trust - A Glance

VMIT (VMIT Educational Trust & VMIT Solutions) has been established keeping the need of hours and rapidly changing world of opportunity for the rural un-employed youths in mind on the First of October, 2004 (01-10-2004). Primarily VMIT started with its technical training programme in Multimedia sector in Shimla. Later on we expanded on several other locations also. After few years we introduced several other Technical training programmes and helped Himachal Institue of Public Administration to launch its documntory film on “Right to Information”. Later on We did enter in development sector also. Under the association of NABARD we did technical training programme to Rural Women through SHG concept. Various awareness& training activities to Research activities, we implemented a large number of assignment for various government & independent agencies. From year 2011 we entered in E-governance activities and successfully implemented Socio-economic Caste Census (SECC-2011) and covered 220 million of population comprising the states of HP, UK & UP. We have been involved in implementing NPR, RSBY and various other E-Govt activities. We are also registered in Indian government’s NGO Portal and have been enjoying a great professional relations with some of India’s well known corporates.
